Er lebte im heutigen Frankfurter Stadtteil <a href=\"https:\/\/de.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Frankfurt-H%C3%B6chst\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">H\u00f6chst<\/a>. Im Ersten Weltkrieg k\u00e4mpfte er als Leutnant in der 11. Kompanie des 88. Infanterie-Regiments.
